Giddy up! Climb onto your horse for a leisurely horseback ride, or just take him for a ride around the riding arena. (Yes! You can also bring your own horse camping with you on your camping adventure!) Wade in the heated pool as you soak up the summer sun. Or, play a few rounds of mini golf. Whatever you do, you’re in for a treat at what just might be the most unique campground in Pennsylvania.
Artillery Ridge Campground promises an unforgettable adventure in an historic setting. The sprawling campground sits on the land that once housed the Union Artillery Reserve at the Battle of Gettysburg.
Or, rent one of the cabins nestled along the campground's fishing pond. For a really unique stay, check into the School House, Jail, General Store, or Harness and Saddle Shop. (Check out the picture below!)
Get settled then start exploring the campground that's only a few minutes from Gettysburg National Military Park. Relax alongside or in the heated pool.
Or, spend a few hours playing miniature golf or a variety of other games, including cornhole, horse shoe, volleyball, and basketball. The kids can also head to one of the playgrounds.
Ready to explore beyond the campground? Join a local historical tour; head out on a ghost hunt (the perfect way to spend an evening in Gettysburg) or visit Gettysburg National Military Park.
Rainy or chilly day? Or, maybe you just feel like spending time indoors? While away the hours in the game room; watch a film in the movie room (it has A/C!), and shop at the camp store.
