It’s no secret that Oregon loves its breweries. In a state full of great craft beer, Worthy Brewing manages to stand out above the rest. This incredible Central Oregon brewery boasts scrumptious food, quality brews, and one of the best stargazing spots in the Beaver State. It is also home to the world’s first — and only — “Hopservatory.”
Take a look:
Located in Bend, Worthy Brewing is one of the most unique breweries in the Beaver State.
A favorite with locals and visitors alike, this fantastic craft brewery opened in 2013.
The menu features delicious dishes made with fresh and local ingredients. We recommend trying one of stone hearth pizzas or the heavenly sweet potato fries!
They recently opened an outdoor beer garden, sky bar, and a hop yard where they grow estate and experimental hops.
The brand new Hopservatory is one of the most exciting recent additions. This family-friendly destination gives visitors the chance to learn all about the mysteries of the solar system.
The 50-foot tower houses a 16-inch telescope. This powerful device will help you identify distant planets, a colorful double star, and maybe even a streaking comet or two!
You can stop by the Hopservatory for open viewing on Thursday and Sunday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. There’s a $5 fee for the tours but all proceeds will go to support science literacy programs.
For good food, brews, and some breathtaking views of the cosmos, head to Worthy Brewing.
