Oregonians look forward to Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm’s festival all year long, and we were certainly planning to attend. Unfortunately, the farm has cancelled its festival due to COVID-19 this year. They’re doing their part to keep everyone safe and healthy, but they still have fields of tulips in bloom right now. So, what to do with all those beautiful blooms? Keep reading for a heart-warming story:
We have to admit that we love Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm even just a little bit more since learning about this! Support the farm if you can during this time. Visit its website, and if you want to see more photos of gorgeous tulips, follow its Facebook page.
We’re also dedicated to helping local small businesses right now in any way we can. If you have a favorite restaurant or shop, please nominate them for a feature article by filling out our nomination form. The business doesn’t have to be currently open to be featured – we’ll write about it in hopes that Oregonians will be ready to shop and dine there as soon as it’s safe to do so!
