I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
Just because the cold weather is upon us, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy al fresco dining! At Willamette Valley Vineyards, visitors can reserve a heated igloo for a private dining experience that’s pure, unadulterated hygee. This winter, stay warm and cozy in your very own igloo while enjoying a freshly prepared meal at one of the most beautiful vineyards in Oregon.
Oregon's Willamette Valley is immensely beautiful and bountiful, home to an abundance of world-renowned vineyards and wineries.
Last year, the winery debuted its Willamette Wine Pods: private, heated igloos wherein guests could wine and dine during the coldest months of the year.
These clear igloos offered guests a safe -- and warm -- way to experience the amazing food, drink, and ambiance of the Oregon winery -- and they're back again this year!
The wine pods make for an immersive and memorable wine tasting experience. Pods are available for up to six people -- by reservation only -- and are thoroughly cleaned in between uses.
While Willamette Valley Vineyards is best-known for wine, the food here is not to be passed up. The menu changes throughout the year, highlighting different vintages and flavor profiles based on what's in season.
