When you’re craving a home-cooked meal, but you just don’t feel like being in the kitchen, you need to find a cozy cafe with comfort food and friendly service. Vida Cafe is just such a place. It’s been serving happy customers since the 1950s, and you’re going to feel right at home here.
Vida Cafe opened for business in 1951, and it's been serving happy customers ever since. You'll find it nestled on the banks of the McKenzie River, in the town of Vida.
In 2015, Vida Cafe suffered a terrible fire. Members of the community were devastated, because this cozy cafe has always been not only a place to get a great breakfast or burger, but also a warm, friendly spot to catch up with neighbors and chat about the latest news.
Vida Cafe is also popular for its amazing pie, and if you want to combine the pie with the delicious pancakes, you can have a breakfast unlike any other.
The lunch and dinner menus also have plenty of tasty comfort food. Choose from homemade soups, fish & chips, and classic sandwiches like the club sandwich shown here.
The burger menu includes eight different options. If you're really hungry, you can order the Mackenzie Monster, which is a 10 ounce burger with double cheese.
If you’re looking for homemade comfort food, served by friendly staff, Vida Cafe is the place to be! Follow the cafe’s Facebook page so you can see the daily specials and see what’s new today.
