Oregon has some incredible food. We’ve got tons of restaurants that have won awards for their inventive and delicious menus, but dinner isn’t the only meal being served. 7. Xocolatl de Davíd Foie Gras and Sourdough & Olive Oil chocolate bars.
This chocolate shop makes some incredible chocolates, including kinds that most people would never even dream of. Their two most unique flavors are the Foie Gras chocolate bar and the Sourdough & Olive Oil chocolate bar. Three of their chococlate bars (including the sourdough) were winners at the International Chocolate Awards for the Americas!
6. Pix Patisserie.
Named "Best Desserts In Portland" by Portland Food and Drink, Pix Patisserie makes traditional desserts like this French croquembouche cake made of a tower of caramelized cream puffs, as well as unique treats like the Le Fraiser: lemon and cream cheese mousses with strawberries and candied lemon, served with basil ice cream. Wow.

Fifty Licks is a Portland-based gourmet ice creamery with unique and tasty flavors. One favorite is the Coconut Lemon Saffron Sorbet. Try it with a topping of bee pollen! They also have sorbet cocktails and flavors like Thai Rice Pudding, Toasted Milk, and more.
4. Saltwater Taffy from the Seaside Candyman.
This old fashioned candy shop in Seaside is a blast from the past, and has over 170 flavors of saltwater taffy! Also, this is a great place to take kids.
3. Frite & Scoop’s Hokey Pokey ice cream.
Frite & Scoop is an ice cream shop in Astoria with some funky - and delicious - flavors. It also has awesome french fries. If you’ve never tried ice cream with french fries before, trust me, it’s heaven. Try the Hokey Pokey: sweet cream custard ice cream with homemade honeycomb candy, and if you want a little saltiness to even it out grab yourself some yummy frites!

Screen Door is an awesome restaurant specializing in Southern food, and is also one of Portland’s favorite brunch spots. They have a killer dessert menu that includes Ban-Offee Pie (shortbread and pecan crust layered with caramel, bananas, and whipped cream), as well as Creole Pecan Pie, Apple-spice Jelly Rolls, and more.

But keep in mind, this place is so popular the lines sometimes stretch all the way around the corner.
