Subterra is an amazing underground wine cellar restaurant located in the heart of Oregon wine country in the Willamette Valley.
Once inside, you'll be greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a spectacular wall mural depicting Oregon wine country. Who needs windows with a view like this?!
Subterra is also a wine merchant, so if you find one you love, you can take a bottle or two home with you to enjoy later! Even if you're not a wine fan, there are plenty of other options on their drink menu, including local beers and creative cocktails.
The menu is just as impressive as the wine list and features dishes highlighting fresh, local flavors.
Subterra frequently hosts special events, including Winery of the Month tastings, fun holiday celebrations, and more. If you're planning a special gathering, they also offer catering services and a private dining room in their lovely location.
Subterra is located at 1505 Portland Rd., Newberg, OR 97132. The restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and dinner beginning at 5 p.m. They also have a delightful happy hour on Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
