Tucked away in the rolling fields of northeastern Oregon is a spectacular hidden gem that looks just like something from a fairytale. It’s called the Boardman Tree Farm, and it’s absolutely dreamy. Strolling through these tunnels of trees is a positively magical experience any time of year.
This expansive poplar farm is full of rows and rows of lush, graceful poplar trees which create a romantic, surreal setting that looks more like a painting than real life.
Unfortunately, the land has recently been sold and is in the process of slowly being converted into dairy farmland. However, with thousands of poplar trees and a harvest cycle of 12 years, it'll take a long time for the farm to be totally converted. Nonetheless, the clock is ticking, so you should make a point to visit while you still can.
Spend some time strolling through the tranquil landscape beneath a canopy of colorful leaves. (When I was there last week, I got to watch a herd of deer running through the trees. It was positively magical.)
The surreal beauty of this place will sweep you off your feet. Boardman Tree Farm is located just off I-84 at 73669 Homestead Lane in Boardman, Oregon, 97818.
