Sometimes, stereotypes exist for a reason.
While some of the stereotypes about the Beaver State are pure nonsense, others ring true. From our love affair with nature to our slower than molasses drivers, t he following are 11 totally true stereotypes that Oregonians should just accept as fact. Let’s see how many you agree with:
1. We really are obsessed with nature.
With so many gorgeous natural wonders around, there's something for everyone.
2. We really do have strong feelings about newcomers.
We're not exactly thrilled that everyone is moving here.
3. The local coffee and craft brewery scenes are actually amazing.
And with over 200 breweries all across the state, we're not short on options.
4. Western and Eastern Oregonians really are completely different.
From politics to fashion, the two sides rarely agree on anything.

Oregon's largest city gets a lot of attention.
10. We really are exceptionally slow drivers.
We have ranked as one of the country's slowest states in multiple studies.
11. We truly believe that our state is the most beautiful place on earth.
