This Indoor Go-Kart Track In Oregon Will Have Your Heart Racing

Do you feel the need for speed? Perhaps you should strap yourself into a go-kart and race around a track at 40 mph! No matter what the weather’s like you can visit this indoor go-kart track year-round, and you’ll definitely want to make plans to go soon – it’s a blast.
For some super fast indoor fun, head to Sykart Indoor Racing. It's located at 8205 SW Hunziker St., Tigard, OR 97223.
You can walk right in and sign up for a 10-minute Arrive and Drive race session with no reservation. They're available on a first-come, first-served basis. Prices start at $15 for VIP members and $20 for everyone else. Sometimes the facility is rented for private events, so call 503-684-5060 first to check availability.
The 1/4 mile track lets you reach speeds of 30-40 mph, and anyone with a valid driver license (including 15-year-olds with valid learners permits) can race on the track.
Between 8 and 12 drivers are allowed on the track at once, so gather your friends together for a fast, furious race to the finish line. You'll get a race printout at the end, so the winner will have bragging rights.
Want a longer race? Endurance races are held every Monday night at 8:00 p.m.. The 30-minute races run as long as there are three people ready to race; arrive early to secure a spot.
For even more fun, try a driving school session. You'll learn some tips and tricks to increase your speed, and kids as young as eight can participate. Once they've completed the class, kids can join in the Arrive and Drive sessions.
Another fun way to race and learn is with Jr. Racing. Kids 12 and older get their own 10-minute races. Weekday afternoons are generally the best time to try Jr. Racing, but call ahead to check availability.
