As temperatures begin to soar around Oregon, you’re probably dreaming of summertime. Your journey begins in the Opal Creek Wilderness at the Opal Creek Trailhead, which can be accessed via North Fork Road off of OR-22.
As the largest old-growth forest in the western Cascades, you'll feel like you're taking a step back in time. Some of the trees are over a 1,000 years old.
