Oregon is beautiful year-round, but in the fall it’s particularly pretty. If you’re looking for a stunning location with lots of family-friendly activities, you’ll want to make sure to schedule a trip to Smith Rock Ranch this autumn. Check it out:
Nestled near the foot of Smith Rock, Smith Rock Ranch is a charming ranch that offers special autumn activities every fall. You'll find it at 1250 NE Wilcox Ave., Terrebonne, OR 97760.
Not only is this ranch family-friendly during its fall activities, it's dog-friendly, too! Check out the Bark Park - an off-leash dog area for play. Then put your pup's leash back on him to explore the rest of the ranch (except for the corn maze, where dogs aren't allowed).
Smith Rock Ranch offers a fall activity you don't often see at other venues: pumpkin cannons! Take your turn to see if you can hit one of the targets out in the field. There's something really satisfying about watching a pumpkin go flying through the air, landing with a huge splat!
Settle in on a hay bale and enjoy some foot-stompin' music that will raise the barn roof! The ranch has live music every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m..
When you're worn out from all the fall fun here, take a little break for a meal or snack. Food vendors offer everything from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to tacos, and you'll want to save room for a tasty treat like cotton candy, kettle corn, or a funnel cake.
Are you excited about this fun fall event? Visit Smith Rock Ranch’s website for ticket prices, hours and other details, and check out the ranch’s Facebook page for updates and photos.
