Located on a ranch near Silver Lake, this remote restaurant in Oregon is truly unique. Stop by the Cowboy Dinner Tree for a delicious, old-fashioned, made-from-scratch meal you’ll never forget.
This awesome little restaurant is located in a rural area of central Oregon, and can be easy to miss. But don't be deterred; the drive is absolutely worth it.
Long ago, before the restaurant was conceived, this very spot was a meeting place where ranchers from all over the area would get together to share a meal and take a break from their hard work.
As you step inside, the welcoming, rustic atmosphere and your friendly hosts will make you feel right at home.
All of the food is mouthwateringly delicious and made to order. The amazing smell of food cooking just might send you through the roof with excitement.
You'll get to choose between two enormous, mouthwatering entrees: an entire roasted chicken, or a massive 32 ounce steak.
There's also an endless supply of fresh, made-from-scratch bread rolls, beans, and salad, as well as your choice of pink lemonade, iced tea, or coffee to drink. And don't forget to save room for dessert!
Before or after your meal, you might want to take some time to explore; you'll feel like you've been transported into the old Wild West.
If you don't feel like making the drive back home, stick around! There are two rustic cabins available to rent for the night.
The Cowboy Dinner Tree is a reservation-only and cash-only restaurant.
Located at 50836 E Bay Rd, Silver Lake, OR.
