How do you go about naming the best pizza in the state? We could try every pizza parlor in person, and make our own recommendation, but that would take awhile, so we went right to the source: people who dined at pizzerias all over the state, and gave their reviews online.
The consumer review site TripAdvisor recently released their list of “Best Pizzerias In Every State.” The site looked at consumer reviews through September 2018, and took into consideration the quality and quantity of reviews, and of course, the number of stars diners gave each pizzeria. The winner in Oregon? Pisano’s Woodfired Pizza in Bend. Check this place out:
Pisano's Woodfired Pizza claims the honor of Trip Advisor's Best Pizzeria in Oregon, and we agree that it's pretty spectacular.
You'll find Pisano's Woodfired Pizza at 64670 Strickler Ave., Bend, OR 97701.
If you're looking for a cozy, friendly place to sink your teeth into a pizza pie, you've found it. You'll feel right at home here. See that brick oven in the corner? That's where the magic happens.
The pizza here is made by hand, then baked in an oven that came all the way from Italy. They use oak, apple, cherry, and peach wood to make the pizza taste extra delicious.
The wood-fired oven is pretty amazing, but the ingredients they use here make a big difference, too. You'll find only top-quality meats, cheeses and sauces on your pie.
While you're waiting for your pizza to cook in that incredible oven, order up an appetizer or two - they're as tasty as the pizza. This is the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella with fresh basil and pesto, and it will just melt in your mouth.
Visitors rave about the caprese salad, too. Look at that fresh-sliced mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and homemade pesto, all drizzled with a balsamic vinegar reduction. This is one salad that will make your tastebuds tingle in a way that iceberg lettuce never will.
Stop by for a tasty pizza Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.. The pizza makers take a break on Monday, when the restaurant is closed.
Take a look at Pisano’s full menu on its website. Have you dined at Pisano’s Woodfired Grill? If so, do you agree with TripAdvisor diners that it’s the best in the state?
