Summer 2020 has definitely been a lot different, hasn’t it? Many places are closed or offering limited services due to Covid-19, and we miss the summer concerts, festivals, and fun! The Oregon Garden has always been one of our favorite summer spots, and we’re thrilled to see that it’s offering a small concert series called Tunes and Tastings. You’re going to want to check this out!
Address: 879 W Main St, Silverton, OR 97381
The Oregon Garden is a favorite spot to spend a summer day or evening. While its events have been modified due to Covid-19, the garden is still offering Cruise-In Cinema, Art In The Garden, and a new concert series - Tunes And Tastings.
Tunes And Tastings is a little bit different than the summer concert series held in previous years. These smaller, more intimate concerts are held on the Garden Green instead of the amphitheater, and admission is more limited.
Concerts are held on Friday evenings on August 14th, 21st, 28th, and September 4th. Musicians include Patrick Lamb Jazz Quintet, Ben Rue, Hit Factory, and Aaron Meyer.

Bring a blanket or low chair, and make sure to grab a jacket or sweater (it gets chilly after the sun goes down!)
Groups will be seated six feet apart, and safety officers will be on hand to help everyone maintain social distancing. While you don't need to wear a face mask while seated with your group, you will be expected to wear one while waiting in line at the admission area, at the bar, and in the restrooms.
Your Tunes And Tastings Ticket includes a great music concert featuring local artists, and you can choose an early admission ticket that includes a pulled-pork dinner for just $20. Beer, wine, hard cider, and spiked seltzer are available for purchase, too!
You'll need to order your dinner online at least one day in advance of the concert. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available.
Consider staying overnight! Oregon Garden Resort is right on the edge of the gardens, and offers 103 beautifully-appointed rooms. The resort has a concert overnight package that includes garden admission, concert tickets, overnight stay, and breakfast.
