10. Crater Lake
Crater Lake is one of Oregon's many natural wonders. Situated in the crater of a dormant volcano, the lake is the 8th deepest in the world, and the water is incredibly blue because it has some of the purest water in the world.
9. Humongous Fungus
Just beneath the surface of the Malheur National Forest in eastern Oregon is the largest living organism in the world; a honey mushroom that spans 2,200 acres.
8. Painted Hills
The Painted Hills are an amazing sight to behold. The colorful hills are located at the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, located in Wheeler County.
7. Sea Lion Caves
Did you know that Oregon is home to the largest sea lion cave in the U.S.? The Sea Lion Caves are part of a wildlife preserve near Florence.
