Steward Golomb loves pickles. In fact, he’s dedicated more than a decade of his life to perfecting the art of pickling and brining. His shop, MoonBrine, is located in Portland, and if you love pickles you’re going to want to check it out.
You'll find this little pickle shop inside the historic Ford Building.
The address is 2505 SE 11th Ave., Portland, OR 97202.
The pickles here are particularly tasty because they aren't cooked or heavily processed. Instead, they're fermented, which keeps them crisp and flavorful.
The pickles come in two flavors: Super Dill, and Pretty Hot (they're kind of hot... but not too hot). You'll find plenty of briny flavor packed into these jars, but you won't find any preservatives. Keep 'em refrigerated and enjoy the freshness!
Cucumbers aren't the only things being pickled around here. Other vegetables are treated to some loving, briny care, such as these green beans. Choose from dill beans or hot beans — both are amazing.
Proudly proclaim your love for pickles with a Moonbrine t-shirt. You can commemorate your visit to the pickle shop and help them spread the word at the same time.
