Mike's Drive-In opened at a location in Portland in 1971, and the Milwaukie location got its start in 1973. Still open today, the Milwaukie location is a vibrant part of the community.

The owner, Todd Freeman, started working at Mike's Drive In when he was just 14 years old. Even at that young age, he watched his boss, Mike Martin, running a successful business, and he knew that someday he'd like to own a business too. In 1984, after Mike's untimely death, Todd purchased the drive-in from the family. Todd was just 22 years old, and he kept the drive-in's original name to honor his mentor.
The drive-in offers walk-up service, and you can also dine inside.

While Mike's Drive-In is a casual spot, it's not actually fast food. Everything here is made fresh to order, and their motto is, "It may take a little longer, but you're worth it!"
