There’s nothing like a big bowl of pasta to make you feel like everything is right in the world. It’s the ultimate comfort food, and you can order yours with whatever flavors you like best: rich, meaty sauce, velvety cream sauce, or covered in veggies and fresh tomato sauce.
There’s a pasta restaurant here in Oregon that’s locally owned and operated, and it has eight locations across the state. Check out Pastini:
Pastini got its start in 2001, when Craig and Susie Bashel and Kara Hale opened a pasta restaurant near downtown Portland. Nearly two decades later, the restaurant has expanded into eight locations.
In addition to three Portland locations, you'll also find Pastini restaurants in Beaverton, Tigard, Corvallis, Bend, and Eugene.
These casual eateries have been serving delicious pasta dishes for nearly two decades, and they're very involved in community - donating more than $300,000 to local schools and organizations.
Whether you go with the simple Field Greens salad as a starter, or choose the Chicken Caesar or Artichoke Chicken Salad as a full meal, you'll love the crunchy, creative salads.
Pasta is the star here at Pastini, and there are nearly two dozen dishes on the menu. Dig into a hearty Five Cheese Lasagna With Meat Sauce, or twirl some creamy Fettuccini Alfredo around your fork.
Options include pasta with meat, chicken, or seafood, and a large selection of vegetarian pasta entrees.
If you're craving pasta mid-day, one of the Pastini lunches will hit the spot. For less than $10, you'll enjoy a fresh salad or hot bowl of soup and a lunch-sized portion of pasta. Add a couple slices of garlic bread for just $2 more.
