Oregon is well-known for its stunning waterfalls, its lush, green forests, and its magnificent coast…but there’s another claim to fame here in the Beaver State – our amazing wine. There’s a vineyard in Eugene that’s one of the largest organic vineyards in the entire world, and you definitely need to pay it a visit soon.
King Estate Winery is a family-owned vineyard located on the gently rolling hills of Eugene. You'll find it at 80854 Territorial Hwy., Eugene, OR 97405.
Instead, you'll find plants all around the estate that attract beneficial insects, and owls, kestrels, and other birds also provide insect control. Grapes are thinned by hand, and harvested by hand as well.
In addition to 314 acres of pinot gris vineyards, and 143 acres of pinot noir vineyards, the property boasts an acre of lavender and 30 acres of gardens and orchards. The winery is one of the largest organic wineries in the entire world!
The restaurant is open for Saturday and Sunday brunch, lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner seven days a week. You can also enjoy dessert, wine, or cheese and charcuterie all week long.
