Nestled deep within the wilds of northeast Oregon, the “Hobbit Hole” is a magical home that looks like something out of a fantasy novel. Built by artist Dan Price, this cozy house represents his quest to live a simple and minimalist lifestyle. Take a look:
Located in Joseph, Dan Price's "Hobbit Hole" is a charming little underground abode.
Straight out of the Lord Of The Rings, this one-of-a-kind home is built into the side of a natural hill.
The owner, Dan Price, has spent 20 years living and creating art in the Oregon wilderness.
Inside his home, every inch of space is utilized. Treasured photos, pots and pans, and small gifts fill the walls.
Price says that his studio cost him about $100 to build.
This is a view of the skylight, built into the top of the hill. This provides some natural light.
A composting toilet, a propane-powered shower, office, and a pine wood sauna can also be found on the property.
The hobbit hole is truly a one-of-a-kind space that can only be found in Oregon.
