Oregon is a state that’s home to an impressive resume of wondrous waterfalls, from PNW icons and famous falls to beachside cascades and even waterfall swimming holes. And just when we thought we’d discovered them all, a new-to-us waterfall pops up out of the blue, along a river walk in the center of the state. This is the magic that awaits on the Deschutes River Trail in Bend that leads to a whimsical, wondrous little hidden waterfall in Oregon.
Central Oregon is a resplendent region full of mountains, forests, and rivers, making it an outdoor enthusiast's dream. And Bend certainly benefits from its prime location at the heart of it all.
Known as one of the most dog-friendly places in the country, this 12-mile trail is the perfect place to spend a day hiking with your four-legged BFF...
Three footbridges connect trails across the river, providing convenient loops for walking, cycling, and more. This river walk in Bend, Oregon, is also the prime spot to do a little waterfall chasing, too.
...like the beautiful and beguiling Benham Falls. Technically a series of Class 5 rapids, Benham Falls is nonetheless a spectacular sight to see along the Deschutes River Walk in Bend!
