I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
The Oregon Coast is a true #pnwonderland. It’s home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific Coast, numerous iconic rock formations and natural wonders, and some of the region’s most winsome wildlife and charming lighthouses. Highway 101, otherwise known as the Pacific Coast Highway, is a north-south route that runs through California, Oregon, and Washington, running parallel to the Pacific Coast and putting parenthesis on all 363 miles of the Oregon Coast. Within the Central Oregon Coast, the charming town of Florence is right around the halfway point of this iconic coastal route.
When was the last time you visited Florence, Oregon? Did you know it was the halfway point of U.S. Highway 101 on the Oregon Coast? What a charming spot to stop and explore!
Looking for more adventures on the Oregon Coast? These towns in Oregon each make for picture-perfect day (and overnight) trips.
