With so much delicious food around, it’s probably not surprising that we have a few wonderful festivals that celebrate the rich flavors of Oregon. From decadent chocolate festivals to mouthwatering German sausage celebrations, here are seven scrumptious festivals that you and your tastebuds definitely won’t want to miss this year.
1. Mt. Angel Wurstfest
Head to the Mount Angel Wurstfest for a family-friendly celebration of German heritage and sausage. This year, guests can enjoy more than 19 varieties of German sausage, local and domestic beer, live music and dancing. The two-day festival is on February 9 to 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Mount Angel Festhalle.

2. Newport Seafood & Wine Festival
Raise a glass to delicious seafood at the 41st annual Newport Seafood & Wine Festival. With more than 150 local Northwest wines, culinary professionals and regional artists, this is one of the tastiest events on the Oregon Coast. The festival is taking place February 22-25.

3. Oregon Chocolate Festival
Treat your sweet tooth with a trip to the Oregon Chocolate Festival. This decadent event features mouthwatering creations from dozens of west coast chocolatiers, along with a variety of fine chocolates and chocolate-inspired products. The 2018 festival will take place March 9-11.

4. Eastern Oregon Beer Festival
As Eastern Oregon's best and biggest craft beer festival, this is one of the best places in the Beaver State to enjoy some cool brews and tasty eats this summer. The fifth annual Eastern Oregon Beer Festival will feature beers from breweries across Eastern Oregon, the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The festival will be held on Saturday, June 30th.

5. Blackberry Arts Festival
Located in downtown Coos Bay, this delicious festival celebrates blackberries and all things local. If you love blackberry jams, pastries, wine, or candies, this lovely event is definitely worth checking out. This year's festival runs August 25-26.

6. Bite of Oregon
As our state's largest food festival, the Bite of Oregon is sure to leave your tastebuds happy. This event features outstanding cuisine from Oregon's seven regions, tastes and demos from local chefs, along with a wine pavilion and beer garden. All proceeds from this annual event benefit Special Olympics Oregon.

7. Mount Pisgah Arboretum Mushroom Festival
This delightful festival is home to the largest mushroom display on the West Coast and includes a variety of delicious food vendors, scarecrow contest, children's activities, craft vendors, cider, music, and more. This year's event is taking place on October 28, 2018 at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum.
