This regal structure dates all the way back to the 1880s, and it seems to only improve with age.

Construction on the building actually began four years earlier. This gorgeous structure has been called one of the finest examples of High Victorian Gothic architecture in the state of Oregon, and rightfully so.

The congregation at that time consisted of just 12 members who would often meet in each other's homes. Those numbers grew over the years, and by 1860, the funding for the church had begun.

This room features extensive use of cherrywood, which was carved by Portland local Nicholas Strahan, who learned his skills in England. The church also has some gorgeous stained glass windows that line both sides of the sanctuary, the narthex, and the four roof dormers.
