Oregon’s fall foliage is a sight to behold, but there’s one way to make it even more beautiful: throw in a few waterfalls! At Silver Falls State Park, the foliage is ablaze with vibrant hues, and the Trail of Ten Falls is hands-down the most beautiful place to be right now.
Welcome to Silver Falls State Park! This is one of the most beautiful parks in the state system, and during autumn months it becomes even more magical.
You'll find the park about 20 miles southeast of Salem.
The Trail of Ten Falls is the most popular trail at the park. It's a 7.2-mile-long loop trail that takes you past - you guessed it - 10 of
the states top waterfalls.
When you catch the light just right, you might even capture a unique photo, like this one of the upper portion of Lower South Falls. The light through the autumn leaves is magnificent.
Pets are strictly forbidden on the Trail of Ten Falls, but Silver Falls State Park has 35 miles of trails, so even if you have your pup with you, you'll find of fall foliage.
