Are you a connoisseur of chocolate? Do you have a sweet tooth that’s always aching for a sugary confection? If so, you might want to head to Creo Chocolate, where you’ll find delicious hand-crafted chocolates, and a tour that includes the chance to make your very own candy bar.
Chocolate lovers of all ages will love a trip to Creo Chocolates. It's located at 122 NE Broadway St., Portland, OR 97232.
Step inside this chocolate shop and bask in the sweet aromas of chocolate. This place is more than just a chocolate shop - it's a chocolate factory, too. Creo's confections are all made right here onsite, using the highest quality cacao.
The experience at Creo is much more than just choosing some chocolate treats. You can learn all about the way chocolate is made, starting with the cacao bean.
The tour is an hour long, and suitable for guests ages eight and older. During the tour, you'll learn about the origins of chocolate and see firsthand how Creo starts with cacao beans and goes through its process to create delicious, high-quality chocolates and chocolate bars.
During the tour, you'll have the chance to taste roasted cacao beans, sample melted chocolate, and nibble on several different varieties of chocolate bars.
The one-hour chocolate tour is $20, which includes your own, hand-crafted chocolate bar. You might also be interested in the Chocolate 100 class, which is a more in-depth, two-hour- long experience that costs $50.
