This winsome town is actually home to the Oregon Film Museum, a place where film fans can totally geek out over the Beaver State's most famous flicks, and even experience iconic moments in movie history. For fans of "The Goonies," this place is a filmic mecca. The museum is housed in the old Clatsop County Jail in Astoria, which was a working jail from 1914 through 1976, and is most famous for its cameos in "The Goonies." This building, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was used in the iconic opening chase sequence of the 1985 classic. Today, guests can visit and be part of the movie magic, posing for photo ops by iconic sets and costumes!
