When it’s time to take a little staycation, there’s no place better than Oregon’s Siskiyou mountains. There’s a historic lodge near Ashland where you can breathe in the fresh, mountain air, enjoy a delicious meal, then snuggle up in a cozy bed. Does this sound like paradise? Check out Callahan’s Mountain Lodge:
Welcome to Callahan's Mountain Lodge! This historic place got its start back in 1947, when Don Callahan opened a little cafe in the area, and expanded it to include a lodge. It moved to its current location in 1965.
After a devastating fire in 2006, the lodge was rebuilt and opened in 2008. It's a stunning retreat in the mountains, and you'll love it the moment you walk into the lobby. With its soaring ceilings, cozy fireplace and comfy seating, you'll feel right at home.
When it's time for dinner, head over to the lodge's restaurant. The Ashland Gallery Association has named it the Best Restaurant for the last four years, and you'll see why when you taste the scrumptious food.
Callahan's Mountain Lodge is located right below the Pacific Crest Trail, making it the perfect destination for thru hikers or section hikers. Stay here in the summer to hike and explore...
