Blue Lake Regional Park covers 101 acres in Fairview. It's an oasis near the Columbia River, and you'll want to spend an entire day here.
Arrange your beach towel on the banks of Blue Lake's swimming beach and cool off on a hot, summer day. There's no lifeguard here, so make sure to keep an eye on the kids.
Take a stroll to explore the park's three ponds and wetlands, and watch for wildlife. You'll see all kinds of migratory birds, and might even get a glimpse at a raccoon or muskrat.
Kids will love the Natural Discovery Garden, where they can dig in the dirt, learn about the flora and fauna in the park, and enjoy guided activities on weekends.
