Did you know that the world’s only Bigfoot trap is located right here in Oregon? This one-of-a-kind structure was built back in the 1970s after several sightings of Bigfoot were reported in the area. Today, it can be easily reached by taking a short and sweet nature trail in Jackson County. Take a look:

Eventually you'll come to the abandoned wreckage of an old miner's cabin. The Collings Mountain Trail is named for two brothers who mined in this area during the 1850s and 1860s.
This 10x10 structure was originally built in 1974 by the North American Wildlife Research Team, after miner Perry Lovell reported that he discovered 18-inch, human-like tracks nearby.
While the only things ever caught in here were a couple of unhappy bears and one very unhappy hunter, Sasquatch sightings continue to be reported in the area.
