I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
While we’re all for scenic drives along the Oregon Coast, there is something so delightful about getting out of the car and experiencing nature firsthand. It’s a total sensory experience: the feel of the sand beneath your tires (or feet, if you prefer walking or running!), the warm sun on your back, the salty smell of the sea, the sonorous wind and waves… it’s simply magical. Near Tillamook, there’s a 7.5-mile trail that’s simply perfect for a day trip adventure. The Bayocean Peninsula Trail is a lovely little loop that winds through trees, sand dunes, and even on the shore, for an amazing scenic tour of the Oregon Coast!
The Bayocean Peninsula Trail is one of the most amazing and scenic adventures on the Oregon Coast, and definitely something to add to your bucket list!
While you’re out on the Oregon Coast, plan to visit one (or several!) of these amazing seafood restaurants.lso
