Merry Christmas, Oregon! What traditions does your family have on Christmas day? Mine always takes a drive to see Christmas lights. Here’s a beautiful little community that transforms into a Christmas wonderland every year, and the lights are still glowing tonight and tomorrow night. Check out Aspen Meadows Celebration of Lights:
You'll find the little community of Colton southeast of Portland, along Highway 211. Every year, it hosts the Aspen Meadows Celebration of Lights, and the theme this year is "Live to Dream."
Celebration of Lights has been delighting visitors for more than 20 years. You'll want to check out the holiday displays both indoors, and outdoors. See the miniature train village, enjoy the carolers, and warm up with some hot chocolate.
This event is always free of charge! Help others this season by bringing a can of food to donate to the Oregon Food Bank. There are donation barrels onsite.
