Hey, Oregonians! Are you enjoying the holiday season? We certainly are, and we love all the holiday lights all around the Beaver State. Here’s a light display in Colton that will not only dazzle you with its beauty, but it also has tasty treats and concerts that benefit charity.
Every year, we look forward to the Aspen Meadows Celebration of Lights! Last year's theme was "Live to Dream," and this year's theme is "Miracle of Miracles." We can't wait to see what they've dreamt up for this theme.
This stunning light display got started more than 30 years ago, as a small, family display. Today, it's grown into a popular attraction that benefits charity.
There's no admission charge to visit Celebration of Lights, but you're encouraged to bring a can of food to donate to the food bank. Look for the donation barrels onsite.
As you wander through the grounds, you'll be in awe at all the colorful twinkle lights, and you're certain to feel a little bit of that Christmas spirit!
Throughout the rest of December, Celebration of Lights hosts special music concerts. Some are free, but others require a $5 fee for tickets. 100% of ticket sales go to benefit the Clackamas County Peace Officer's Benevolent Foundation, which sponsors its "Shop with a Cop" event every year.
Are you planning to visit Aspen Meadows Celebration of Lights? If so, visit its website, where you can find more details and purchase concert tickets in advance. You’ll also want to follow the Celebration of Lights Facebook page for daily updates.
