There’s no shortage of great pizza places all across the Beaver State, and we love the little locally-owned spots the best. While most pizzerias let you build your own pizza with your choice of toppings, Apizza Scholls in Portland goes even a few steps further. If you like to customize your pie, this is the place to go!
You'll find Apizza Scholls in the Hawthorn District of Portland. It's been around since 2005, and it's a neighborhood favorite.
To keep the crust perfectly crisp, there's a three-topping limit on pies, but there are plenty of toppings to choose from, so you can customize to your heart's desire.
Even with a topping limit, there are many ways to customize here. Ask them to bake your pizza with a lighter crust if you'd like, and request no-cut or double cut.
The pies are all 18 inches, and you can get any of them without cheese! They'll also do half-and-half for you, so if you your dining partner has different taste than you, you'll both be happy.
Do you prefer your own, hand-held pizza? Get a calzone Monday through Thursday. These sell out quickly, so order early.
