Sometimes getting messy can be a whole lot of fun. There’s an art studio in Albany that offers a splatter studio where you can fling paint around to your heart’s content. Check out Albany Art Studio:
If you're looking for a fun new way to get creative, look no further than Albany Art Studio.
You'll find the art studio at 131 NE Montgomery St., Albany, OR 97321.
When you first walk in the studio, it looks like any other artistic space. You can drop in any time to create a work of art during a DIY session, take an art class, or even paint a masterpiece during a Follow Along session.
The messiest fun is found in the Splatter Box. This 2,500-square-foot space is specially designed for you to make a huge mess with a rainbow of paint. Put on some clothes that can get messy, and head on over.
Book your spot during "Open Splatter" and get ready to get creative. It's just $15 for an hour of fun, and that includes eight ounces of neon UV splatter paint and a canvas.
Then, start flinging paint around! The studio has all kinds of materials to help you paint, including brushes, syringes, and even bazookas. You're definitely going to get paint all over you!
...or you can apply colorful paint to just about any object you'd like. The tempera egg-based paint is safe and non-toxic, but it will stain your clothes. The studio also offers ponchos, shoe covers, and shower caps for sale if you want to cover up and protect yourself from paint...but what's the fun in that?
For an even wilder time, adults 21 and older can participate in the BOYB on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8 p.m. midnight. Painters of any age can book two-hour parties.
Book your spot in the Splatter Box on Albany Art Studio’s website, and go check out the studio’s Facebook page to see more photos of the fun you’ll have there. Have you ever tried this? We’d love to hear from you and see your pics in the comments! If you haven’t been yet, tag the friends you want to join you!
