As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
A weekend on the coast is always wonderful, no matter what the season, and it’s even better when you can find a cozy Airbnb property at a great rate. We’ve found a fun, 1960s-themed place in Otter Rock that’s a unique getaway. Check out The Dude’s Abode:
From the outside, this A-frame Airbnb looks like a little Swiss Chalet...
...but the moment you step inside, you'll be transported to the 1960s. The decor in this little abode is similar to The Dude's home in the move The Big Lebowski, which was the inspiration for this little Airbnb's decor.
The abode has 1960s flair all over the place, including the full kitchen, where you can prepare all your meals (and maybe even a White Russian or two).
The Dude's Abode is just 656-square-feet, but the owners have managed to pack tons of amenities and vintage charm into this tiny space. It's the perfect beach retreat.
...just find a bench where you can sit and admire the ocean. When you tire of all that ocean beauty, there's a bowling alley in Lincoln City, just 17 miles up the coast.
