It’s no surprise the Pioneer Woman Mercantile is making headlines again…this time for their scrumptious, fluffy pancakes. This rustic, chic mercantile store and restaurant might just be home to the world’s best pancakes and if you’ve never had them before, it’s worth a trip to Pawhuska. Keep scrolling to check them out below.
The Pioneer Woman Mercantile opened in 2016 in Downtown Pawhuska in a restored brick building that boasts rustic charm from floor to ceiling. It's home to everything from gifts and home decor to food and pastries.
But they don't just serve average food. If you know anything about the Pioneer Woman, then you know she's an amazing chef and patrons can indulge in her delicious food in the restaurant inside the Merc.
The world's best pancakes might just be found here at The Mercantile. Edna Mae's Pancakes are made from Ladd's (Pioneer Woman's husband) grandmother's favorite recipe for tender and delicious pancakes.
They are topped with a 3-flavor butter sampler and come in a stack of three. They also come served with three syrup flavors: aged vanilla and cinnamon; orange zest & clove; and sea salt caramel.
The menu also features some other incredible items like The Farmer's Breakfast: Two eggs, crispy potatoes, Applewood smoked bacon, freshly made country sage sausage, sugar glazed ham, and their freshly baked buttermilk biscuit with homemade jam. Yum!
Before or after your dining experience, be sure to visit the Shop inside the Merc...where you'll find thousands of adorable gift and kitchen items from the Pioneer Woman brand.
If you’ve never visited the Merc before, we highly recommend you take a day trip and experience everything this place has to offer…just be sure to try their amazing pancakes!
Right down the street is another Pioneer Woman establishment you’ll want to visit – P-Town Pizza. Click here to read all about it.
