If you’re looking for a destination restaurant that will take you far away from city life, head to Clinton to White Dog Hill. It’s situated on a hill and offers panoramic prairie views, amazing sunsets, incredible food, and a nostalgic atmosphere. It may be located in the middle of nowhere, but we promise it will be worth the drive.
White Dog Hill is located off Route 66 between Clinton and Weatherford at 22901 North Route 66 in Clinton. Keep an eye out for the vintage truck out front, then veer off onto the dirt road.
It's located about 80 miles from Oklahoma City and 187 miles from Tulsa - the two largest cities in the state. There's not another restaurant around for miles and miles, which makes it one of the coolest destination dining spots in Oklahoma.
It really is worth the trip to Clinton to eat at this first-class restaurant. You will feel like you're a million miles away from it all and all the stress will melt away the moment you pull up.
But it's not just the views that bring people to this destination restaurant in the middle of nowhere. It's the amazing food! Start your meal off right with a cheese board appetizer and glass of house wine.
End your meal enjoying these unparalleled views of western Oklahoma. They are open Wednesday - Saturday from 5:30 p.m.to 9:30 pm. As they say at White Dog Hill, "Come for the view, stay for the food."
