Are you ready for a pizza adventure that will take you to six of the best pizza joints in the Sooner State? If so, follow along below on the 416-mile road trip that will send your taste buds into a frenzy.
You can view the interactive Google Map and change your route that best suits your starting location.
1. Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room: Broken Bow
Near the shores of Broken Bow Lake and Beaver's Bend State Park, lies tucked away some of the best pizza in the state. Grateful Head serves delicious handmade gourmet pizza, along with a great selection of tap beer and yummy hot wings.
2. Bakers Pizza Joint: Maysville
Baker's Pizza is a family-owned restaurant located at 501 Ash Street. Look for the free-standing building with an airplane's tail sticking out from the top of it. The pizza is seriously amazing and fans drive from all over the state to get their hands on it. Check out their custom-made pizzas that will send your tastebuds in a frenzy.
3. Stone Sisters Pizza Bar: Oklahoma City
This stop is for all you gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian eaters. This family-owned pizza joint serves a variety of organic specialty pizzas. Their pizza crust is made from sprouted spelt instead of traditional flour, and it's actually really good.
4. Falcone's Pizzeria: Oklahoma City
Falcone's Pizzeria has been voted OKC's best pizza for 10 years. Their reviews back up this claim, and you won't want to skip this amazing pizza joint. They serve authentic New York-style pizza, and you can even order pizza by the slice.
5. Andolini's Pizzeria: Broken Arrow
Featuring New York-style pies with imported toppings, this delicious pizzeria spot has some of the best pizza in the state. It's just about perfect in every way. Plus, they serve tasty garlic knots, so be sure and order them!
6. Sam and Ella's Chicken Palace: Tahlequah
The last stop on this pizza journey is Sam and Ella's Chicken Palace in Tahlequah. Don't let the name confuse you...the chicken part has to do with the decor, not the menu. The pizza is fabulous and a favorite among many Oklahomans. It's seriously one of my favorites and hard to beat.
