We’ve featured Turner Falls many times in the past but they have a new attraction this year that offers an unforgettable experience. You can now take a carriage ride to the falls and it’s every horse lover’s dream. If you’ve never visited this popular place, you simply must visit this year. You’ll find the state’s largest waterfall, a swimming hole, epic hiking trails, hidden caves, and more.
Check it out below:
Tucked away in the Arbuckle Mountains, along Honey Creek, you'll find Turner Falls. It's just six miles from downtown Davis, in the south-central part of Oklahoma, and features the largest waterfall in the state, standing at 77 ft. tall.
New this year to Turner Falls is 4-D Carriages, offering carriage rides to and from the falls. Pick-up and drop-off is near the Trading Post, so if you want to ride, park near the post.
This isn't your typical swimming hole. The 77-foot waterfall cascades into a natural pool and it's one of the most gorgeous places in the state. They also have a slide and diving board that is loads of fun.
The carriage rides are offered Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., so be sure to visit during the week if you are coming for the carriage ride.
