If you find yourself around Grand Lake in northeastern Oklahoma this summer, you’ll want to try The Artichoke Restaurant. It’s a little dining establishment located in a 100-year old house that has become a local favorite with lake goers and visitors from all over the globe. It was voted one of the 100 top American cuisine restaurants in the country by OpenTable customers and their outstanding online reviews back up this impressive accolade.
Located in the small lake town of Langley, The Artichoke Restaurant and Bar serves steaks, chicken, seafood, and, of course, artichokes in a century-old farmhouse.
They use many homegrown vegetables and herbs from their on-site garden and you can taste the high-quality ingredients in every dish. Start your meal off with one of their whole artichokes served with clarified butter, mayo, or sour cream.
Customers rave about all the food but the steaks seem to get extra attention due to their fantastic flavor and quality. All steaks come served with soup or house salad and one additional side.
The Artichoke is open Tuesday - Saturday for dinner only, starting at 5:00 p.m. It's located about one mile north of the 82 & 28 Interchange in the town of Langley.
Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made online on their website here.
