Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
There’s a fairly common misconception about the state of Oklahoma: people tend to believe that the state is nothing more than flat land, wind turbines, and tornadoes. Well, we’re here to promise you that it isn’t; there are lots of absolutely breathtaking places around the state, and this one is truly exceptional.
To get to the lake, it’s probably easiest to approach from either state park. You can get directions and information about Tenkiller State Park here, or info about Cherokee Landing here.
