It seems like new dining spots are popping up every day around the state, which is great news for all of us foodies. We pretty much have any type of cuisine at our fingertips or a short car ride away. Adding to the list of new restaurants in 2019 is a trendy spot that not only serves delicious Cajun food but is a music venue with a great lineup of upcoming shows.
Check it out:
SwampHouse is located in the middle of Studio Row in downtown Tulsa and is a new spot in town for Cajun food and live music.
The patio is a great spot to enjoy the fresh air, as there is plenty of shade. On select days, you'll find live music livening up the space and it's so enjoyable.
Now let's talk about the food. The menu is Cajun-inspired and has some incredibly tasting items. The Po’ Boys are a must-try. Choose from classic roast beef, fried gator, fried catfish, and fried crawfish.
It's hard to choose just one starter, so go ahead and add on the Shrimp on a Boat - toast bites topped with Cajun grilled shrimp and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
Take a look at their Facebook page and website for more great pics and upcoming shows.
While in the area, drive down Charles Page Boulevard in Tulsa and you’ll come across what looks to be the Flintstone’s house. The Cave House is one of the quirkiest buildings in Oklahoma (if not America) and it’s full of history, hauntings, and hair-raising stories. Check it out here.
