Held annually on the second Saturday in May, The Stillwell Strawberry Festival draws in over 20,000 visitors for one of the most beloved hometown festivals in the state. Come enjoy a host of activities, including games, live entertainment, a parade, free strawberries, ice cream, and more.
The Stillwell Strawberry Capital is held in Downtown Stillwell, Oklahoma, May 9-12, 2018. It's been an annual tradition since the 1940s and you don't want to miss it.
Stilwell is known as the "Strawberry Capital of the World" because of the number of quality strawberries grown in town. There are strawberries and then there are Stilwell strawberries!
Plus, there will be a variety of food vendors where you'll find all your favorite fair foods. And music lovers will enjoy the live entertainment that includes classic rock, country, blues, and pop.
But strawberries are king during this festival. Don't miss the strawberry recipe and baked goods contest or the free strawberries and ice cream on Saturday.
This nationally-celebrated event wouldn't be complete without a few carnival rides. They are a kid favorite, so make sure to check out all the fun on the midway.
