Oklahoma is home to many charming small towns that are the backbone of this great state. Today, we are featuring three of our favorites: Davis, Medicine Park, and Broken Bow. Not only are these towns filled with friendly people, lovely Main Streets, and lots of charm, but they are all naturally beautiful towns filled with some of the best outdoor scenery in all of Oklahoma.
The town of Davis is home to the famous Turner Falls Park where you'll find the largest waterfall in the state. It's located in the heart of the Arbuckle Mountains so the scenery is otherworldly and there is plenty of outdoor recreation for all skill levels.
It's also home to some great food and shopping. Back in town, you'll find Main Street, the hub of activity for this small town. Explore it and you'll fall in love with it as much as we have.
This small town has a fascinating history, plus it’s surrounded by beautiful cobblestone and picturesque scenery. It was once a bustling resort town that would draw in the rich and famous.
Today, it's a laid-back town that is one of the most charming places to visit in all of Oklahoma. You'll find cozy cabins and lots of fabulous eateries. And with its location at the base of the Wichita Mountains, the hiking options are endless.
Next up on our list is the popular vacation town of Broken Bow, a nature lover's dream. It's home to Broken Bow State Park which is filled with fun activities for the whole family.
