The small town of Broken Bow is located in southeastern Oklahoma and is a great vacation spot year-round. In the summertime, you can enjoy the lakes and rivers but in the wintertime, the place is a cozy mountain town that’s perfect for relaxing, winter hiking, exploring, and dining. It’s become quite a popular destination town, especially in the winter.
Broken Bow is home to Beavers Bend State Park, one of the most beautiful spots in the state. It’s a 1,300-acre state park surrounded by majestic beauty, crystal-clear water, and endless outdoor recreation.
The town is home to thousands of cozy cabins, ranging in size from studios to ones that sleep 30+ guests. Most of them are tucked away in the mountains so they are spread out and offer peace and serenity you can't find anywhere else.
If you’re interested in hiking in Beavers Bend State Park, check out the newest trail in the park – Friends Trail. The trail is a 1.5-mile loop that is rated as intermediate and great for year-round hiking.
