Oklahoma’s cities have an endless array of excellent restaurants, but its small towns also offer up some tasty cuisine. Here’s a little diner with a hysterical name and some of the best comfort food in the state.
Talihina, Oklahoma is a small town with around 1,100 residents. It's located in the southeast part of the state, near the Arkansas border. This quaint town is home to one of Oklahoma's best diners.
The diner got its sassy name from Pam's customers. Her "Coffee Club" of regulars dubbed her "Hateful Hussy" one day as a joke, and it stuck. The diner is located at 304 Dallas St., Talihina, OK 74571.

This friendly spot has a comfortable dining room with interesting wall decor and the original tin ceiling.
Dinner is all about comfort food, and the chicken fried steak is as scrumptious... and as big as your head. People come from miles away for this hand-breaded, 10-ounce chicken fried steak.
