The Sooner State has so many wonderful pumpkin patches to visit during the fall season. Sure, we know about all the popular ones in the big cities, but there are so many great ones hiding in the smaller cities. There’s a lesser-known pumpkin park in the town of Sand Springs in northeastern Oklahoma that is perfect for a fall outing.
Sand Springs Pumpkin Patch is open daily in October at 17516 W 8th Street in Sand Springs. It's a family-friendly festival everyone should experience during the fall.
All pumpkins are priced by the size, with the minis starting at only $1. They also have giant pumpkins and specialty pumpkins that will run you more around $20.
There are games all over the place and the fee for a kid's activities pass is $8 per child and includes unlimited play in all of the activities with the exception of pony rides.
On the last Saturday and Sunday of the month, there is a special event - The Annual Sand Springs Fall Market -where vendors come and sell their products.
This outdoor pumpkin park is filled with everything to make your autumn day a memorable one! They are open Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 - 7 p.m.
