1. Adventure Quest Playground at Leonardo's Discovery: Enid
This three-story wooden castle is a science playground that will spark the imagination and keep everyone busy for hours.
2. Bentley Park: Bixby
Recognized as one of the best youth parks in the state, Bentley Park features splash pads, baseball, softball, soccer, playgrounds, winding enclosed slides, big chair swings and so much more. Pack a picnic and spend the day staying active.
3. M.T. & Helen Gholston Children's Park at Acme Brick Park: Clinton
This wooden playground is the highlight of this multi-activity park situated on 143 acres. Enjoy rope swing. slides, swings and climbing contraptions. After playing on the playground, take a one-mile train ride over the lake and through a tunnel.
4. Myriad Botanical Gardens-Children's Playground: Oklahoma City
You don't need swings and slides for a playground. The Children's Garden features many items for kids to climb on and play with. They also have a splash pad for those hot days and plenty of shade.
5. Redbud Park: Marlow
Play cops and robbers at the Hideout or shop at the General Store at Redbud Park. Let your imagination run wild at this wild west playground.
6. Route 66 Park at Lake Overholser: Oklahoma City
Located on the west side of Lake Overholser, this recreational hot spot sits on 148 acres. It houses The Parks and Recreation Department's largest playground, along with an observation tower, hiking trails and skate park.
7. Veteran's Park: Jenks
Enjoy several big slide options, a pond, kiddie park, climbing pieces and lots of swings at this playground. They also have a much-needed bathroom building for the little ones or big ones.
8. Riversport Adventures at the Boathouse District: Oklahoma City
Take a walk on the six-story Sandridge Sky Trail, zip across the 700 ft. Sky Zip, drop 80 ft. from the Rumble Drop or take a ride on the high speed, spiral slide. Even the little ones can try out the trail walk on the lower level and experience this fabulous attraction.
